Meet Justin
Campus Director - Mines
Justin grew up in Littleton before attending Colorado Christian University where he played baseball for two years and graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration in 2021. He was a 2-year volunteer with Mines FCA as a discipleship group leader before coming on staff during the summer of 2024. Justin's wife, Carlie, has also been a discipleship group volunteer with Mines FCA.

Meet Brooke
Campus Representative - Mines
Brooke and her husband, Evan Verbal, both competed as student-athletes at Colorado Christian University, where Brooke later worked in higher education while completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Now, as an FCA Area Representative at Colorado School of Mines, Brooke is passionate about investing in student-athletes by helping them grow in faith, character, and leadership. Evan now serves as the Head Cross Country Coach at CCU, and together they love building relationships that point others toward Christ.

Meet Carol
Prospective Staff - Campus Representative - Mines
Carol is excited to join the FCA team after spending many years serving students in higher education at CCU, Westmont and Wheaton College. Most recently she served as a Mentoring Specialist with Save Our Youth Mentoring in Denver. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about building meaningful relationships, encouraging young people, and helping them grow into the leaders God has created them to be.
Carol earned her BA. from Westmont College and her MA. in Education, Counseling, and Guidance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She also completed a certificate in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care at Denver Seminary.
As a part-time Area Representative with FCA, Carol serves at the Colorado School of Mines, where she has the opportunity to invest in student-athletes, support and encourage coaches, and develop leaders who are growing in their faith in Jesus Christ. She is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside others as they discover the hope, purpose, and life-changing love found in Christ.
